Winter months got you down? What better way to lift your spirits than to begin planning your Cape Cod & Islands long weekend, or vacation, for this upcoming summer. There is so much to do in the Cape Cod area during the summer months, so planning a trip can quickly become overwhelming. Luckily, we have pulled together some of the best attractions in the Cape Cod & Islands area so you can hit some of the greatest spots during your time there. Check them out here:
- Nantucket Whaling Museum. This is an awesome historical attraction to visit if you are planning on visiting Nantucket. The Nantucket Whaling Museum has ship models, whaling equipment, the skeleton of a 43-foot sperm whale (!) and so much more. The museum is a restored candle factory that features a rooftop deck.
- Falmouth Shining Sea Bike Path. Falmouth is absolutely gorgeous, and if you are looking to get some exercise in while enjoying the scenery, the Shining Sea Bike Path is perfect for you! It is a full 10-miles and can be biked, or if you’d prefer to run or enjoy a leisurely walk, that is common as well.
- Dennis Cape Playhouse. If you will be in the Dennis area, you must try to purchase some tickets to a performance at the Cape Playhouse. It is the oldest professional summer theater in the United States, so is a must see!
