Surreal Sunset Spots on the Coast

Gray’s Beach

 

Now that daylight savings are in full effect, and there’s been an extension to sunlight throughout our day, it’s time to find the perfect place to watch the sun go down with your loved ones. You’ll want to visit all these surreal sunset spots before summer so you can find the ideal stop to bring that someone special. Although there are thousands of spectacular destinations on the east coast, we’ve pulled just a few of our favorites!

Colt State Park

Colt State Park: Bristol, RI 02809

Colt State Park is one of the perfect scenic destinations in Bristol Rhode Island. This state park offers 464 acres on Poppasquash Neck. Opened from Sunrise to Sunset it’s the perfect place to drive through or sit along the bay enjoying the breeze as the sun goes down. 

Beavertail State Park

Beavertail State Park: Jamestown, RI 02835

Beavertail State Park is located at the end of Jamestown Island where you will get the pleasure to enjoy a panoramic water view. You can enjoy the sun setting from the boulder-covered shore or hike to the water’s edge. This spot is surely one of the best in Rhode Island. 

Horseneck Beach: Westport, MA

Horseneck Beach: Westport, MA 02790

Horseneck Beach is the perfect place for a long walk on the beach, not to mention golden hour is prime time to do so. This go-to destination in Westport provides a spectacular sunset walk while enjoying the cotton candy scenery setting over the waves. 

Gray’s Beach

Gray’s Beach: Yarmouth, MA 02675

Grays Beach provides a long boardwalk over marshes straight out to the water. The shallow waters are perfect for golden hour paddleboarding. Not to mention, low tide is the perfect time for a beautiful sunset picnic. 

Cisco Beach

Cisco Beach: Nantucket, MA 02554

Cisco Beach is one of Nantucket’s hot spots to capture the sunset. This location is the best spot if you’re looking to catch the local surfers in action. Here you can get a glimpse of the reflections of the cotton candy skies on the water where you can take amazing pictures you won’t regret.
