Best Bites in Coastal Locations

For true foodies, there is nothing more exciting than trying out a new restaurant, especially in a

beautiful, fun location! Visiting a new restaurant gives you the opportunity to visit a new place

and be introduced to some unique dishes and drinks. And, what is better than trying out a new place that is

“foodie accredited?” This week, we’re featuring some of “Britt’s Best Bites’” favorite coastal locations that

are an absolute must to add to your restaurant bucket list. If you are in any of the following areas, be sure to give

these restaurants a try (you won’t regret it!):

 

South Shore: Station Eight in Marshfield, MA

Station Eight offers a gorgeous ambiance while serving a casual, delicious menu that features everything from salads and pastas to sandwiches and pizza. Additionally, they feature daily appetizer, lunch, entrée, and dessert specials. 

Cape Cod & Islands: The Blue Coral in Chatham, MA

The Blue Coral is an outdoor restaurant that is steps away from Chatham’s Main Street. Known as Chatham’s “hidden oasis”  The Blue Coral features casual lunch that can be eaten there or easily taken out if you prefer to indulge on Lighthouse Beach! 

South Coast: Bay Room in Onset, MA

The Bay Room is located at The Glen Cove Hotel and is a great place to head to for casual dining overlooking the Onset. Bay and Cape Cod Canal. It offers year-round seasonal menus featuring classic American cuisine. This is also an awesome spot to book for any events and celebrations. 

East Bay & Aquidneck Island: Wharf Southern Kitchen & Whiskey Bar in Newport, RI

In the mood for southern style cuisine? Look no further than Wharf Southern Kitchen & Whiskey Bar, located on Bowen’s Wharf in downtown Newport. Their menu items use many New England ingredients as well as local seafood, meats and produce. 

West Bay & South County: Marcelino’s in Providence, RI

Marcelino’s boutique bar, is known for having world class cocktails. Marcelino’s features Mediterranean food and is also vegan friendly. Marcelino’s is super elegant and is the perfect place to head to for a special night out.
