Britt’s Best Bites of the Week

For true foodies, there is nothing more exciting than trying out a new restaurant, especially in a beautiful, fun location! Visiting a new restaurant gives you the opportunity to visit a new place that you have not been before as well as be introduced to some unique dishes and drinks that you have never tried. And, what is better than trying out a new place that you know is “foodie accredited?” This week, we’re featuring some of “Britt’s Best Bites’” favorite coastal locations that are an absolute must to add to your restaurant bucket list. If you are in any of the following areas, be sure to give these restaurants a try (you won’t regret it!):

South Shore: Hingham, MA: Hingham Lobster Pound

The Hingham Lobster Pound is known widely for being one of the best establishments for some seafood take-out. They have outstanding lobster rolls, grilled and fried seafood specialties and some of the freshest fish that you will find in the area.

Cape Cod & Islands: Harwich, MA: twenty-eight Atlantic

In the mood for some fine dining? Part of Wequasset Resort and Golf Club, twenty-eight Atlantic has some of the highest ratings on Cape Cod from large outlets such as Forbes, AAA and Zagat. It has a variety of items on the menu, stunning views and premier service.

South Coast: Swansea, MA: One Horse Pizzeria & Saloon

Whether you are looking for a quick bite, some takeout or to relax with your own pizza pie, One Horse Pizzeria & Saloon is the perfect option in Swansea. They have a large menu filled with a variety of pizzas, appetizers and salads (if you’re looking to get some greens in along with your pizza!). You can also enjoy delicious subs and sandwiches as well.

West Bay & South County: Cranston, RI: Caffe Itri

For Italian food, if you are in Cranston you must visit Caffe Itri. This restaurant is Tuscan-style and features refined Italian fare and a full bar. Plus, weather permitting, you can enjoy al fresco dining out on their patio.

East Bay & Aquidneck Island: Newport, RI: Jo’s American Bistro

For some classic American food, check out Jo’s American Bistro in Newport. This restaurant has something on the menu for everyone, whether you are in the mood for seafood, steak or a great sandwich or salad. It is classy and elegant in a wood-accented space and will not disappoint.
