“Britt’s Best Bites of the Week”

For true foodies, there is nothing more exciting than trying out a new restaurant, especially in a beautiful, fun location! Visiting a new restaurant gives you the opportunity to visit a new place that you have not been before as well as be introduced to some unique dishes and drinks that you have never tried. And, what is better than trying out a new place that you know is “foodie accredited?” This week, we’re featuring some of “Britt’s Best Bites’” favorite coastal locations that are an absolute must to add to your restaurant bucket list. If you are in any of the following areas, be sure to give these restaurants a try (you won’t regret it!):

South Shore: Marshfield, MA: Haddad’s Ocean Café

This family owned establishment has been up and running since 1937 and has been run by four different generations of Haddad’s who share one thing in common: a love for seafood! All the seafood on their menu is caught daily by local fishermen that they partner with. But, if seafood is not for you, there is still plenty on their menu to choose from.

Cape Cod & Islands: Mashpee, MA: Burrito Bistro Mashpee

Any restaurant with the slogan “Every day is taco time!” is a restaurant for me. Burrito Bistro in Mashpee has a huge selection if items from salads to tacos to burritos. Not to mention, they have an entire fruit smoothie bar! If you are looking for a quick bite, this is a great place to stop for something fast and tasty.

South Coast: Onset, MA: The Pier View Restaurant

Pier View Restaurant has been open since 1979 and is best known for their delicious breakfast and brunch. Their menu is a mix between traditional American style food as well as Cajun and Creole. They have anything and everything to choose from for breakfast – from a “Hamburg Omelet” to good old “Texas French Toast!”

Rhode Island: Charlestown, RI: The Charlestown Rathskeller

The Charlestown Rathskeller has been a well-known dining experience since 1933, and is consistently visited for its summer stage, backyard bar and burger shack surrounding their beautiful bonfire! This is a great place to enjoy some free concerts while enjoying their steaks, seafood, burgers and sandwiches

East Bay & Aquidneck Island: Portsmouth, RI: Anna D’s Café

If you are a Panera lover, Anna D’s Café will absolutely blow you away (and may even blow Panera out of the water, as well!) They have some of the most outstanding paninis of all time, and their breakfast wraps are even more delicious. This café is a must stop if you are in the area!
