Britt’s Best Bites of the Week

For true foodies, there is nothing more exciting than trying out a new restaurant, especially in a beautiful, fun location! Visiting a new restaurant gives you the opportunity to visit a new place that you have not been before as well as be introduced to some unique dishes and drinks that you have never tried. And, what is better than trying out a new place that you know is “foodie accredited?” This week, we’re featuring some of “Britt’s Best Bites’” favorite coastal locations that are an absolute must to add to your restaurant bucket list. If you are in any of the following areas, be sure to give these restaurants a try (you won’t regret it!):

South Shore: Fitzy’s Wake & Shake in Marshfield, MA

Whether you’re in the mood for a good breakfast out or looking to grab some food to go, Fitzy’s Wake & Shake is a great, quick and low-key option! Not to mention, they’ve got ice cream and milkshakes on the menu – which is ALWAYS a must.

Cape Cod & Islands: Paradise Pizza in Dennis, MA

This pizza is out of this world – and so are their subs, and everything else on the menu! Paradise Pizza was established in 1976 and is the perfect takeout option for you to bring back to your cottage or enjoy outside by the water. It is always a must when I am down the Cape!

South Coast: Cask & Pig Kitchen and Alehouse in Dartmouth, MA

Cask & Pig Kitchen is a New England style gastropub with a menu that is mixed with southern barbeque, Portuguese cuisine and other local favorites. They have a wide variety of beers, including craft, on tap and additionally offer craft cocktails!

West Bay & South County: Caffe Itri in Cranston, RI

Caffe Itri is a Tuscan-style restaurant that features a refined Italian menu as well as a full bar. When weathers, Caffe Itri also features al fresco outdoor dining on their patio, so you can enjoy a beautiful day and beautiful meal all at once!

East Bay & Aquidneck Island: S.S. Dion in Bristol, RI

S.S. Dion in Bristol opened in the summer of 1983 when Steve Dion and his wife Susan decided it was time to take Sue’s outstanding cooking and bring it to life! S.S. Dion is known for its fresh local seafood and has some of the best grilled fish in the East Bay!
