How to Decorate Your Home for Halloween

The time has officially arrived to start decorating the inside and outside of your home for the Fall season, and with the Fall season comes Halloween! Halloween is a great time to get the family involved in some creative décor around your home, whether it is funny and cute, scary, or a mix of both! Here are some tips on how you can get started decorating your home for one of the most fun holidays of the year:

  • Get a scarecrow. There are many different types of scarecrows that you can purchase or make on your own if you are more into the DIY versions! A scarecrow is perfect to put outside your house, near your front door or on your lawn!

  • Stock up on pumpkins. Head to your local farm and pick up some pumpkins to place around your home. This is also a great opportunity to carve some Jack-o-lanterns with the family and let everyone exercise their own personal creativity! Once the pumpkins are carved, be sure to stick light bulbs in them so they can light up as it gets darker.

  • Drape some fake spiderwebs. Of course, you can’t have Halloween without some fake spiderwebs around the house! You can drape them around bookshelves, on any side tables or on the wall with some clear push pins as the anchors.
