From sandy beaches, availability of water ideal for wading or swimming, one of the oldest carousels still in operation, and a variety of eateries to eclectic downtown shops and terrific cottages, you’ll find a great deal of joy and pleasure in Oak Bluffs while visiting the island. On one night every summer, the cottages light up with Chinese lanterns, making it likely the loveliest place on earth. Because of its popularity, everyone from the Obamas to the Clintons has vacationed in this beloved resort community.
