Upscale Eateries for Delectable Coastal Cuisine

Britt’s Best Bites of the Week

For true foodies, there is nothing more exciting than trying out a new restaurant, especially in a beautiful, fun location! Visiting a new restaurant gives you the opportunity to visit a new place that you have not been before as well as be introduced to some unique dishes and drinks that you have never tried. And what is better than trying out a new place that you know is “foodie accredited?” This week, we’re featuring some of “Britt’s Best Bites’” favorite coastal locations that are an absolute must to add to your restaurant bucket list. If you are in any of the following areas, be sure to give these restaurants a try (you won’t regret it!):

South Shore: Grille 151 in Weymouth, MA

Grille 151 is an upscale and comfortable American restaurant that specializes in seafood, beef, and comfort foods. They offer a high-quality dining experience at affordable prices. Grille 151 is also a great spot to host any private dining events!

Cape Cod & Islands: The Barley Neck in Orleans, MA

The Barley Neck is a small, independently owned restaurant located right by Nauset Beach in Orleans! The restaurant has four intimate dining rooms that are housed in the 1868 Sea Captain’s home. And the original attached barn houses their casual dining and entertainment spot.

South Coast: Brew Fish Bar & Eatery in Marion, MA

Brew Fish Bar & Eatery has a casual yet upscale atmosphere with great service, great food, and great drinks! Head chef, Joaquim Marques, has created recipes with new twists on old favorites, creative comfort foods, and unique signature entrees.

East Bay & Aquidneck Island: Giusto in Newport, RI

Inspired by the simplicity of traditional Italian cooking as well as its focus on quality ingredients, Chef Kevin O’Donnell melds the two with his affection for his home state’s wide array of farms, fisheries, and other producers. The food menu features both recognizable favorites and nuanced interpretations.

West Bay & South County: Reiners Bar and Game Room in Providence, RI

Reiners blends old-school charm with an immersive sports-inspired dining experience. This is a great place to stop by to catch a game on TV with friends, tee off in one of their Topgolf® Swing Suits®, or indulge in pub fare!
