Value, Comfort, Convenience and More Options Than Ever Await Guests of the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs Resort Area
The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort Complex, is just a short walk to Disney Springs® and is the perfect destination for your next Orlando vacation.
The two official Walt Disney World Resort® hotels, the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista and Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista are packed with many shared amenities. The entire resort recently completed a guest room renovation includes 394 newly reimagined garden-themed rooms for the value-minded guest and another 232 rooms in the upscale 19-story tower overlooking Disney Springs, which features a lake house motif.
“I think what makes us special is when you look at the proximity to the Walt Disney World theme parks and being directly across our pedestrian bridge to Disney Springs, said General Manager Jay Leonard. “Here at the Wyndham and Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista, it’s location and the value you get from staying at our resort.”
The most discerning travelers have come to appreciate spending less than they would at a nearby resort owned and operated by Disney, yet still enjoy early entry to each Disney theme park every day. A park reservation and valid ticket for the same park on the same date are required. Scheduled shuttle transportation to the Walt Disney World® theme parks is also provided to guests of both hotels. Other amenities include premium Wi-Fi, concierge and parking valet services, state of the art fitness and business centers, a Hertz Rental Car counter in the lobby and recreational facilities including a kids play area, video arcade, sand volleyball and basketball courts
The amenity-rich Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, featuring soft blue lake house–themed rooms, has been reimagined beginning with the Wyndham (19-story tower), and now the Wyndham Garden (5-story buildings on either side of the tower).
Interior Image Group drew the inspiration for the design concepts from the hotel’s lobby area, continuing the tower theme into the unique garden guest rooms. These newly recreated rooms allow guests to unwind and relax with the feeling of being in their very own garden retreat.
Jamie Malays served as lead creative designer on both hotel offerings and applied her expertise using multiple fabric textures, wood finishes and a minimal color palette in the garden concept.
“The use of neutral tones such as white, sand and light green helps to maintain a light, crisp, calm and airy space, keeping in line with the theme,” said Malays. The lake house tower guest rooms feature a similar neutral color palette, deeper wood finishes, simple lines and modern accents.”
The exterior facing garden rooms are designed to provide an open and inviting space, with the intent of making guests feel at home and that fact really close to the pool is an added bonus.
The Ideal Place for Meetings and Conferences Too!
The resort features 25,000 square feet of premier event space, which can accommodate groups of 12 to 1,200. They really make planning easy and can care for any type of gathering. I’ve attended several functions, and recently hosted one there. The attention to detail and catering is truly a cut above. The in-house audio-visual team is an industry leader and anticipated our every need.
See You at The Oasis
Open daily for lunch and dinner, the poolside Oasis Sports Bar and Restaurant is ideal for everyone who wants to soak up a day’s worth of the Florida sun or simply delight in a refreshing beverage or satisfying meal while watching sports on the big screens in an all-weather, climate controlled open air dining room.
Handcrafted cocktails, frozen drinks, beer and wine selections and a delicious food menu await. From mouthwatering fish tacos to some of the best chicken wings south of Buffalo, you will find what you seek at the Oasis at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista.
Other on-site dining options include a mouthwatering breakfast buffet starring Mickey Mouse waffles each morning in the Lakeview Restaurant, refreshing handcrafted cocktails, craft beers and more in the Eclipse Lounge each evening, Joffrey’s Coffee Shop open early each morning and throughout the day for a beverage or fresh bakery item and the Sundial Café open 24/7 for chef inspired grab and so sandwiches and salads where you are certain to find your favorite beverage as well.
So, What is Disney Springs?
Disney Springs is a shopping, dining, and entertainment complex located on the east side of Walt Disney World® near Typhoon Lagoon. It sits directly across the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort Area, a 5-minute walk over a pedestrian bridge to the right front of the hotel.
While Disney Springs offers a number of Disney-owned stores and locations, it’s also home to a wide variety of other specialty shops and restaurants.
Disney Springs was designed to resemble a historic waterfront locale built around Florida’s natural springs. It exists in four uniquely themed neighborhoods: The Marketplace, The Landing, Town Center, and West Side. And perhaps best of all, there’s no cost of admission to experience all Disney Springs has to offer.
Championship Caliber Golf is a 5-minute Drive Away
We timed the drive and Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Club is that close. It’s one of three championship golf courses at Walt Disney World®, now operated by Arnold Palmer Golf Management, each providing a golfer’s paradise. The layouts are challenging enough for the PGA TOUR’s greatest players, but also friendly enough to accommodate all skill levels at what has come to be known as “The Happiest Place on TURF!”
As Walt Disney World Golf ushers in the next 50 years, there’s tremendous excitement for 2023 with the grand re-opening of Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course early in the year. While next December will mark the 50th anniversary of the Jack Nicklaus legacy here – his third consecutive victory in what was then known as the Walt Disney World Golf Classic.
